Versione ITA:One Piece Capitolo 1169: “Devo morire il prima possibile”. Color Spread:“I Pirati di Rocks con abiti neri”. In copertina appaiono 14 membri dei Pirati di Rocks: Rocks (che accarezza una tigre), Newgate, Linlin, Kaidou, Shiki, Stussy, Gloriosa, Streusen, John, Marlon, Ochoku, Ganzui, Barbel e Kyo. Gaban e Shanks stanno parlando nella casa di Gaban (è la continuazione della scena vista nel capitolo 1152). Gaban spiega a Shanks di aver incontrato Garp e di aver appreso da lui che Roger aveva un figlio. Ora Gaban trasmette questa informazione a Shanks. Shanks: «Ohhh, allora il figlio del capitano sarebbe come un fratellino per me!!» Gaban: «Già… come tu e Buggy siete “nostri” figli.» Stacco sul Castello di Aurust. Harald si muove di propria iniziativa e uccide la guardia gigante che aveva portato le catene per legarlo a un pilastro. Harald percepisce che il controllo di Imu non sta influenzando solo il suo corpo, ma presto cambierà anche la sua mente e i suoi pensieri secondo la volontà di Imu. Harald ordina a tutte le guardie giganti di ucciderlo; poi Loki e Jarul entrano nella sala del trono mentre le guardie giganti stanno pugnalando Harald (la stessa scena vista nel capitolo 1152). Tuttavia Harald si riprende e inizia a uccidere le guardie, liberando un enorme Haki. Ritorno alla casa di Gaban. Shanks spiega a Gaban come funzionano i “contratti”, mostrando il marchio sul suo braccio sinistro. Shanks: «Io e Harald abbiamo formato uno “Patto superficiale” con un’entità chiamata il “Grande” nella Terra Santa. Ma anche solo con questo “Patto superficiale”, se mi trovo entro il raggio della sua abilità… è impossibile andare contro i suoi ordini…!!» Gaban: «Che potere bizzarro.» Shanks spiega a Gaban che ha rivelato la sua vera identità a Harald quando erano insieme lontano da Mary Geoise, e così sono diventati amici. Vediamo un pannello di quel momento, con Harald che dice a Shanks: «Lo sapevo!! Sei il Pirata chiamato “Il Rosso”, vero!?» Shanks dice che Harald credeva che, unendosi ai “Cavalieri di Dio”, Elbaph sarebbe finalmente entrata a far parte del Governo Mondiale. Ma questo significava anche che Harald avrebbe dovuto firmare un patto di livello superiore. Gaban: «E questo è un problema?» Shanks: «Formando quel nuovo patto, i “Cavalieri di Dio” ottengono “forza sovrumana” e un “corpo immortale”. Viene loro data anche la capacità di generare un “Abisso” per attraversare grandi distanze. In cambio, la voce del “Grande”li seguirà fino ai confini del mondo. Ovunque si trovino, non potranno mai andare contro i suoi ordini…!! Harald non potrà più dire di no!! E dubito sinceramente che quelle persone avide manterranno ancora le loro promesse…» All’improvviso, Shanks e Gaban percepiscono un Haki terrificante provenire dal Castello di Aurust. Nella sala del trono, Loki e Jarul tengono Harald schiacciato a terra. Harald confessa a Loki, Jarul e alle guardie giganti di aver fatto lavori sporchi per il Governo Mondiale, ma ora di essere stato ingannato da Imu. Harald ordina a Jarul di consegnare a Loki il leggendario Frutto del Diavolo, perché pensa che nemmeno Loki sia in grado di sconfiggerlo dopo il potenziamento ricevuto da Imu. Poi Harald parla a suo figlio, piangendo. Harald: «Devo morire il prima possibile!!! Fallo e siediti sul “trono”, Loki!! Poi di’ alla gente che razza di re stupido sono stato!! Usa la mia morte per costruire la tua reputazione!!! Non me ne frega niente di ciò che diranno di me dopo la mia morte!!! Ciò che conta di più è il futuro di “Elbaph”…!!! Capisci, vero!!?» Loki: «Tu… sono senza parole…!!» Harald: «Ti prego, Loki!! Sei l’unico su cui posso contare!!!» Dopo aver affidato tutto a Loki, l’influenza di Imu aumenta e la mente di Harald cambia completamente. Harald non si trasforma in un mostro: Imu prende semplicemente il controllo totale del suo corpo. In una DOPPIA PAGINA STRAORDINARIA, Harald inizia a uccidere tutte le guardie giganti. Ordina alle guardie fuori dalla sala del trono di sigillare immediatamente tutte le porte, perché ci sono dei criminali nel castello. Una guardia gigante pugnala Harald al collo, ma lui si riprende immediatamente. Guardia gigante: «Come osi…!! Tu non sei più il nostro re Harald!!» Harald: «Non essere ridicolo. Sono ancora Harald… ma ora sono un leale servitore del “Grande”… Nessuno sopravvivrà…!! Non permetterò che una sola parola di ciò che sta accadendo in questo castello trapeli all’esterno!!» Loki corre verso la stanza del tesoro. Harald dice che sarà lui a mangiare il leggendario frutto del diavolo e poi consegnerà Elbaph a Imu. Jarul attacca Harald per fermarlo, dicendo che se Harald mangia quel frutto il mondo finirà. È in quel momento che Jarul viene pugnalato alla testa. Shanks e Gaban arrivano al Castello di Aurust e attaccano Harald. Ma ancora una volta, Harald si riprende immediatamente. Harald: «Shanks… questo mio corpo immortale… è affascinante!! Posso sentire la mia superiorità come organismo…» Shanks: «Dannazione… non c’è davvero modo di annullare l’ordine…!?» Loki arriva nella stanza del tesoro alla fine del capitolo. Sblocca le catene e apre la porta. All’interno vede un forziere contenente il frutto e, dietro di esso, il martello “Ragnir”. Ma c’è qualcosa di strano, perché sembra che “Ragnir” si stia muovendo leggermente… Loki: «Questo è il frutto del diavolo proibito che viene tramandato a Elbaph!! Eh!?» Il capitolo si chiude con “Ragnir” che si muove da solo e attacca Loki, il quale riesce a schivare l’attacco per un soffio. Voce misteriosa: «GeGeGeGe!!» Loki: «Uwahh!! Chi è!!?» Fine del capitolo. Harald confessed to Loki, Jarul and giant guards that he has been doing dirty jobs for the World Government but now he has been fooled by Imu. - Harald ordered Jarul to give Loki the “legendary Akuma no Mi” since he thinks that even Loki wouldn't be able to defeat him after being given Imu's power-up. Then Harald talked to his son while he was crying. Harald: "I have to die as soon as possible!!! Do it and sit yourself on the “throne” Loki!! Then tell the people what a fool of a King I was!! Use my death to build your reputation!!! I don't give a damn what people are going to say about me after my death!!! What matters the most is the future of “Elbaph”...!!! You understand, don't you!!?" Loki: "You... I'm speechless...!!" Harald: "I beg you, Loki!! You are the only one I can count on!!!" - After entrusting everything to Loki, Imu's influence increased and Harald's mind changed completely. Harald didn't transform into a monster, Imu simply took total control of Harald's body. - In an AMAZING double page Harald started killing all giant guards. Harald ordered the guards outside the throne room to seal all doors immediately because there were criminals in the castle. One giant guard stabbed Harald's neck but he recovered immediately. Giant guard: "How dare you...!! You are not our King Harald anymore!!" Harald: "Don't be ridiculous. I'm still Harald... but now I'm a loyal servant of the “Great One”... None will survive...!! I won't let a word of what's happening in this castle get out!!" - Loki ran to the treasure room. Harald said he will be the one that will eat the “legendary Akuma no Mi” and then he will give Elbaph to Imu. Jarul attacked Harald to stop him saying if Harald eats that Akuma no Mi, the world will end. That's when Jarul got stabbed in his head. - Shanks and Gaban arrived to the Aurust Castle and attacked Harald. But once again, Harald recovered immediately. Harald: "Shanks... This immortal body of mine... is fascinating!! I can feel my superiority as an organism..." Shanks: "Damn it... Is there no way to cancel the order...!?" - Loki arrived the treasure room at the end of the chapter. He unlocked the chains and opened the door. Inside Loki saw a treasure box containing the fruit and “Ragnir” hammer behinds it. But there's something strange, because it looks like “Ragnir” was moving a little... Loki: "This is the forbidden “Akuma no Mi” that is passed down in Elbaph!! Ehh?" - Chapter ends with “Ragnir” moving on its own and attacking Loki, who barely dodges the attack. Strange voice: "GeGeGeGe!!" Loki: "Uwahh!! Who is this!!?" End of the chapter. BREAK next week for japanese Christmas Holiday week (full Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will be on break).
